Is Corona Realty Inc. a licensed real estate brokerage?

Yes. And, as do most other licensed real estate brokerages in our area, we make full use of the MLS® System - the most powerful property marketing system in Canada. The MLS® System will place the home listing on REALTOR.ca, the most visited For Sale, real estate website in Canada.

We're members of the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) and the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). All REALTORS®in our area are members of these exact same organizations.

When we help our clients buy or sell, we offer the same representation and services that can legally be offered by any other licensed real estate brokerage.

Does Corona Realty charge anything upfront?

No. As with most other brokerages, we only get paid when we are successful in selling your home. We pay for all upfront marketing fees, processing fees and administrative costs. When selling your home, you only pay our commission if we are successful. Nothing is due upfront. (Similarly to other brokerages, if you are purchasing a property through us, you pay no commission - the Seller/Seller's brokerage will pay our commission.)

Will Corona Realty list my property on the Multiple Listing Service®(MLS)?

Yes. We make full use of the MLS®System. Further, your listing is placed on many other real estate websites where buyers are looking to buy online. From REALTOR.ca and other For Sale sites, to the websites of the largest real estate brands including Royal LePage®, RE/MAX®, Sutton®, Coldwell Banker®, Keller Williams®, Century 21® and many others.

What's the difference between Corona Realty and other large real estate brokerages?

Frankly, not much. Our brokerage was previously a member of an international real estate franchise organization. So, we know how they operate. From the perspective of providing our clients the service to get their home sold, nothing has changed. Corona Realty is still committed to providing our clients with professional, knowledgeable and sound advice. We're focused on market trends, using the latest real estate technology and providing the best marketing resources to assist our clients in selling their current homes and buying their next one.

The difference is in our business model.

Corona Realty's approach is to efficiently and effectively manage our back office functions so that we can shift these resources to where it counts the most: our front line. Since we don't have to share our commissions with a large national or international franchise, we can pass our savings on to our clients.
